Rain, Rain Go Away

It is raining and cold here in Yuba City California. It has been really nice, and the rain is badly needed here, but we are breaking camp and moving down the road a ways tomorrow. It's so much easier to do when it is dry.

I was looking through some pictures and found a couple worth posting here. The first one is from our Christmas visit with David and Jessica. It reminded me how nice it was to see them. We are really looking forward to our next visit. Hope the house buying is going well.

It was cold and rainy then too.

We were at Devil's Punchbowl State Park. The Pacific Ocean along the Oregon coast is a wild thing, churning and spraying. Even in December, there were surfers out with their boards looking for the waves.

When you look down at the punchbowl, you can see some of the action of the waves. There are some BIG rocks out there in the ocean, too. Makes me wonder at the awful power to throw them from the closest land.

I also found some Yosemite National Park photos. We didn't have much time to spend the day we visited, and it is definitely a place I would love to revisit. More power of mother nature on display.

The waterfall was so loud, you could hear it from the road which was at least a mile away.

Have a wonderful day!
